Omega-5, From Pomegranate Seed Oil

Omega-6 from Seabuckthorn and Moringa:
While sources of omega-6 fatty acids are abundant in the modern western diet, a trace amount of omega-6 are found in AstaMatrix®, as they naturally occur in sea buckthorn and moringa oils. While you might have heard that omega-6 is “bad”, the body actually relies on this essential fatty acid for normal growth and development, and to create the hormones and other substances that help our inflammatory response function just as it should. Omega-7 From Sea Buckthorn Berries
The orange-colored berries of the sea buckthorn bush, have medicinal properties that have been used in traditional Chinese medicine to treat a host of ailments. Its potent oils contain several bioactive substances, including vitamins, minerals, and antioxidant-rich flavonoids. However, the bulk of its composition is omega-7 fatty acid. Like many of its omega cousins, omega-7 has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, and also nourishes and supports healthy cells. In addition to synergistically working with omega-3s, omega-7 are believed to have their own positive effects on diseases related to aging, the cerebrovascular and cardiovascular systems, the joints, and metabolic processes.
Omega-9 From Moringa oil
The omega-9 fatty acid in AstaMatrix® is sourced from the seeds of the moringa oleifera tree, which has been coveted around the world for its medicinal properties. Moringa oil contains vitamin C, and B-family vitamins, and is an abundant source of omega-9 fatty acids. Again, the B-family of vitamins aid in the absorption of the omega-3s in AstaMatrix®, as they are known cofactors of omega-3s, while omega-9 appears to have important cholesterol modulating effects, and can help control many of the risk factors for cardiovascular disease and stroke.
